Art is our mirror on reality, and our hammer to shape it.

Established in 2008 as a collaborative design & sculpture studio by UW-Madison alumni William Grant Turnbull & Alexander Gar-Sing Wong, the Paradigm Forge spent its first decade working in tandem with local glass artists Laura Richards and Richard Jones, and studio jeweler and metalsmith Beth Zarden-Benson. Together we have created 13 major public sculpture projects (across 6 states, with dozens of custom fabrication projects across 3 more, and 2 countries, to life in our 1500 square feet at Madison’s storied Winnebago Studios.  While Mr.Wong has since relocated to the Twin Cities (now an assistant Professor of robotics and manufacturing at Dunwoody College) Mr. Turnbull has more than doubled his studio space when he relocated operations alongside Crucible nightclub, helping them reclaim the former Capitol City International Truck garage into the Local Artists’ Industrial Reserve.  Because some art can't happen just anywhere.
